CARBON NEUTRAL FAIRS 2023
An event is carbon neutral when its greenhouse gas emissions – which could not be avoided – are adequately quantified and an environmental offset action is taken in the same proportion as support for environmental projects.
After the fairs, a new calculation will be made considering the measured data of the 2023 edition in order to cross with the emission estimates and adjust the anticipated compensation.
The carbon generated during the event will be offset by the protection of a vast area of native forest.
ACTIONS THAT WILL BE TAKEN TO NEUTRALIZE EXCLUSIVE GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS.
SELECTIVE COLLECTION
&
WASTE MANAGEMENT
For almost two decades we have carried out a structured work of selective collection and waste management of events, a practice that has always reinforced Francal Feiras’ concern to reduce the environmental impacts of major events such as BIO BRAZIL FAIR | BIOFACH LATIN AMERICA and NATURALTECH.
While the event takes place, the Tietê Central cooperative carries out the sorting of waste. From there, the material goes straight to a warehouse of the entity. The buckets and composting are in charge of the company Multilixo.
On-site sorting of waste is carried out during fairs through a partnership with LC Almeida Ambiental.

We will compensate
of the packages collected during the fairs.
This stamp represents compensation of 100% of the equivalent of the total volume
of your packaging:
for each package placed in the environment,
1 equivalent package will be recycled
A union of all agents in the recycling chain, including the sorting center
of recyclables that serves us, promoting recycling with social responsibility.

We know that the product and service of our exhibitors are the stars of the event, but they also have a commitment to visitors and the planet.
For the exhibitor to win the VIVA VERDE SEAL he needs to adopt a series of criteria in his space. Our team visits the booth installation between the last day of assembly and the first day of the fairs, checking if the company has adopted it.
