Partnership between Naturaltech and Local.e boosts small businesses

Incubator will have exclusive space for first-time brands and will serve as a showcase for companies that bet on the growth of the healthy food market 

São Paulo, May 2023 – Ten small companies will have the opportunity to exhibit their products for the first time  at the 17th Fair of Healthy Eating, Supplements, Natural Products and Health – Naturaltech, which will be held between June 14 and 17, at the Anhembi Exhibition Pavilion, in São Paulo. The initiative is the result of a partnership between the fair and Local.e, a start-up specializing in local brands, which together created a business incubator and will help these newcomers gain visibility during the event. 

“The Naturaltech Incubator & Local.e is a way that helps small businesses to get in touch with the links of the chain of the sector, disclose the mix of products, participate in the business rounds and take advantage of all the other benefits that the fair provides to the exhibitor. The natural and healthy products segment has been growing steadily every year. Therefore, participating in an event like Naturaltech will be fundamental for entrepreneurs,” says Valeska Oliveira, head of product at Francal Feiras, organizer of Naturaltech. 

Among about one hundred applications, the organizations were selected for the Naturaltech Incubator & Local.e. The initiative provides partial subsidy from Francal Feiras for the booth in the Incubator space, participation in the business rounds, in addition to the support of Local.e, with free access to the exclusive platform and discount on mentoring.  Not having participated in any other edition of the event and presenting innovative products, aligned with the principles of the fair in relation to healthiness, were some of the criteria of choice.

“The Naturaltech Incubator & Local.e aims to be a space for welcoming, discovering and strengthening small Brazilian companies that are starting their journeys in the market. We hope to contribute so that these organizations can further increase their chances of success and business generation at the event. They are enthusiastic entrepreneurs, with products of great potential in multiple distribution channels,” says Leila Okumura, co-founder of Local.e. 


Specialized in the manufacture of cheeses and cheesecakes 100% vegetables based on cashew nuts, Novah!, from Florianópolis (SC), was one of the companies chosen to debut at Naturaltech. In the market since 2016, it sells to retail (markets, emporiums, grocery stores, among others) and establishments in the food service sector. Gluten-free, the brand’s products also lack artificial colors and flavorings, chemical preservatives, chemically modified starch and cholesterol.  Just like traditional dairy, cheeses can be grated, gratin and melted. 

“The expectation is great! I hope to get leads to generate new business and make strategic contacts with our stakeholders to put my company even more in evidence in the market. Participating in an event of the magnitude and importance of Naturaltech is a significant opportunity”, points out Lisiane Oliveira, partner-owner of Novah!. The entrepreneur will also bring a novelty to the fair. “This is the pre-launch of a vegan aquafaba butter, the boiled chickpea water,” he says. 

Another organization selected was WinStage, a manufacturer of protein bars missing gluten, extra sugars, lactose and chemical additives. Founded in 2020, in the city of Panambi (RS), the company has its own e-commerce and national distribution. Among the partners are players such as Mundo Verde, Quitanda and Raízes.  The products are made with a short list of whole ingredients, such as dates, pasteurized egg whites and almonds. “We were flattered and excited to have been chosen from over 100 companies.  Certainly, the participation in Naturaltech will add a lot of value to our business, which has the objective of delivering a product of the highest possible quality to the consumer, “says Gabriel Fellipe Markus, partner-owner of WinStage. 

The Naturaltech Incubator & Local.e will also have the participation of the brands Companhia Vegetal, Maré Chocolates, Yes Foods, Bizzi, Outside, Kukrum, Obby Matcha Mate and Plant. 

Simultaneously with Naturaltech, the 17th BIO BRAZIL FAIR| BIOFACH LATIN AMERICA. The expectation for the fairs is to receive about 40 thousand visitors for four days, among producers, retailers, professionals from the various areas of health, sportsmen and the final public.
