Bio Brazil and Naturaltech present the main trends and news from the organic and natural markets

The events take place simultaneously between June 14th and 17th at the Anhembi Exhibition Pavilion

More than 700 exhibitors and 60 hours of content are expected, satisfying the increased consumption of natural products in Brazil

São Paulo, April 6th, 2023 – The 17th editions of the BIO BRAZIL FAIR| BIOFACH AMÉRICA LATINA and the 17th NATURALTECH will be held between the 14th and 17th of June. Respectively the largest B2B, B2P, and B2C fairs for organic and natural products in Latin America, the events serve as inspiration for those who are committed to the well-being, quality of life, and sustainability as a niche market by presenting the main trends and novelties of the sector. Organized by Francal Feiras, both will be held simultaneously at the Anhembi Exhibition Pavilion, in São Paulo. 

This year, more than 700 brands from this universe are expected, bringing together around 1,400 new features and 40,000 visitors during the four-day event, including producers, retailers, professionals from different areas of health, athletes, and end consumers.

Diversity in food, fashion, cosmetics and organic hygiene products are the focus of BIO BRAZIL FAIR| BIOFACH AMÉRICA LATINA, which moves billions of reais in four days of the event and provides its visitors with experiences, network, access to launches, trends and relevant content for suppliers of products and services, entities, producers, educational entities, government agencies, and end consumers.

NATURALTECH, in turn, is the main national reference when it comes to natural products, whole foods, probiotics, herbal medicines, complementary treatments, sports nutrition and aesthetics, among others. In addition, the fair is a showcase for chefs, gastronomists, nutritionists and all professionals and companies that saw in the segment an opportunity to grow their businesses. 

Head of Products at Francal Feiras, Valeska Oliveira, reinforces importance of the fair: “Today, Brazil ranks fourth among the world’s largest consumers of natural products and these events help to boost this market, reflecting changes in consumption habits of the Brazilian”. 

Market for organic and natural products in Brazil

This year’s motto is the natural and organic universe in motion, showing how much this market is developing and how much it has contributed to all ESG issues, such as social inclusion, the generation of new businesses, which promotes the economic development of areas, and the sustainability of our planet. Valeska adds: “We have seen more and more brands betting on purposes of building a better world. These are fairs aimed at business, launches, content, vegans and non-vegans, that is, totally inclusive and to leave a positive legacy for our planet”. 

Exclusive actions for nutritionists

Nutrition professionals will have exclusive actions, such as a VIP lounge, Orgulho em Nutrir content panels, free courses, participating in chats with personalities and a guided tour of previously selected stands, which will be participating in the unprecedented Naturaltech Award.

Naturaltech and Bio Brazil Fair Award

One of the highlights will be the first edition of the 2023 Award, to recognize and praise good products on the market in food, beverages and supplements, encouraging continuous portfolio improvements and moving, more and more, the category of healthy products to the clean label trend, expression in English for food developed with natural ingredients and recognized by consumers.

Business incubator

Another highlight of the 2023 edition is the partnership between Naturaltech and Local and to boost small entrepreneurs in healthy food and beverages, generating visibility for ten previously selected companies. These companies will have an exclusive space subsidized by the organization of the fair, as well as support from the partner to prepare the ideal pitch for the market and discounts on mentoring programs with experts from different areas. 

Business roundtable

A traditional initiative at events organized by Francal Feiras, the business roundtable is a reserved area inside the pavilion, by appointment, where B2B visitors and exhibitors can talk, exchange experiences, advance negotiations and close deals.  

Sustainable actions

Accompanying the positioning of the segment in which they operate, other highlights are the sustainability actions, such as the VIVA VERDE label, a campaign that raises awareness and engages exhibitors to adopt actions that reduce, at each edition, the amount of garbage and waste in their stands; the partnership with Greener for the calculation and compensation of the event’s carbon, on-site waste management and the ZERO LIXO action, which encourages visitors to bring their kit from home and collaborate in the reduction of garbage and waste during the fairs.
