CARBON MEASUREMENTS
Greenhouse gas emissions – which could not be avoided – are adequately quantified and environmental compensation action is taken in the same proportion, such as support for environmental projects.
After the 2025 fairs, a new calculation will be made considering the measured data from the 2024 edition in order to cross-reference them with the emission estimates and adjust the anticipated compensation.
The carbon generated during the event will be offset by protecting a vast area of native forest.
We are in the process of carrying out a complete and ongoing inventory of greenhouse gas emissions.
selective collection and waste management
For almost two decades, we have been carrying out structured work on selective collection and waste management from events, a practice that has always reinforced Francal Feiras’ concern with reducing the environmental impacts of major events such as BIO BRAZIL FAIR | BIOFACH AMERICA LATINA and NATURALTECH.
While the event is taking place, the Central do Tietê cooperative sorts the waste. From there, the material goes directly to a warehouse owned by the organization. The dumpsters and composting are handled by the company Multilixo.
On-site waste sorting is carried out during fairs through a partnership with LC Almeida Ambiental.
Specialized professionals responsible for logistics, monitor and track all waste generated in the following phases:

for every package placed in the environment
1 equivalent packaging will be recycled
A union of all agents in the recycling chain, including the recyclable sorting center that serves us, promoting socially responsible recycling.

In addition to the list of suggested best practices that is part of the Exhibitor Manual, this is another initiative by Francal Feiras to engage and highlight exhibitors committed to holding more sustainable events!
We know that our exhibitors’ products and services are the stars of the event, but they are also committed to visitors and the planet.
For an exhibitor to earn the VIVA VERDE SEAL, they need to adopt a series of criteria in their space. Our team visits the booth installation between the last day of assembly and the first day of the fair to check whether the company has adopted these criteria.

Active digital action to encourage and guide visitors to bring their own zero waste kit from home – cup, bottle, cloth napkin, cutlery – or to also purchase, if they wish, products from our exhibitors during the fairs.

The jury is made up of 100% health professionals, nutritionists and doctors who will evaluate the product globally in categories such as: Food – beverage – supplement – innovation
Our goal is to highlight market products and strengthen the positioning in Health & Nutrition for event visitors, the media and the entire sector, offering exclusive exposure and recognition to these products during the fairs.

REUSE and DESTINATION
