Events take place simultaneously, at the Anhembi Exhibition Pavilion, between June 14 and 17
São Paulo, May 2023 – The BIO BRAZIL FAIR| BIOFACH and NATURALTECH, considered the main fairs of products focused on health and well-being in Latin America. Organized by Francal Feiras, the events will be held simultaneously between June 14 and 17, at the Anhembi Exhibition Pavilion, in São Paulo.
In this year’s edition, there will be more than 700 brands of this universe, presenting around 1,400 launches and expecting to receive about 40 thousand visitors during four days of event, among producers, retailers, professionals from the various areas of health, sportsmen and the final public.
One of the highlights is the participation of chef Bela Gil as a speaker. It is also confirmed in one of the panels of the 17th International Forum on Organic and Sustainable Production, which will address topics such as bioinputs, public policies for the organic movement and contributions of organic agriculture to sustainable production.
Teresa Corção, Ambassador of Brazilian Cuisine at Senac RJ and TEDX speaker, Rogerio Dias, President of the Organic Brazil Institute, Fernanda Machiavelli, Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Family Agriculture (MDA) and Cristiane Amâncio, General Head of Embrapa Ecology are among the names confirmed for the debates.
The International Forum on Organic and Sustainable Production will also host the launch of the research “Overview of organic consumption in Brazil 2022”. Conducted by Organis, the study promises to bring trends, exclusive data and market projections of the organic sector in the country.
4th Health, Wellness and Beauty Panel
Another attraction of the program, which is aimed at dermatologists, is the 4th Health, Wellness and Beauty Panel, which will be led by professionals Patrícia Silveira, Grace Marzano and Luiza Archer, responsible for the first natural dermatology course in Brazil.
The goal is to disseminate knowledge about the benefits and opportunities that natural cosmetics can provide and establish a relationship between aesthetics and food.
Pride in Nourishing
In the field of nutrition, Pride in Nourishing, aimed exclusively at students and nutrition professionals, has the motto of updating, presenting scenarios and fostering discussions about the main trends of healthy eating, such as planetary diet and plant-based foods and drinks.
In the list of experts are Alessandra Luglio, Director of Health and Nutrition of the Brazilian Vegetarian Society (SVB), Humberto Nicastro, nutritionist, Erica Zago, MKT Manager of Nutrify, among other personalities.
Along the Pride in Nourishing, it is also planned to launch the research “The Brazilian consumer and the plant-based food market”, from GFI, and the study “Industrialized plant-based beverages”, from the Food Technological Institute.
14th Seminar SVB VEGANISM IN FOCUS
In the 14th Seminar SVB VEGANISM IN FOCUS, THE OPENING IS IN CHARGE OF Alberto Peribanez, doctor and author of the books “Lugar de Médico é na Cozinha” and “Cirurgia Verde”. The specialist will talk about the integration between nature, small producers, health agents and the eradication of chronic disease.
Ricardo Laurino, President of SVB, Luís Fernando Guedes Pinto, Director of SOS Mata Atlãntica, Carla Brum, nutritionist, Mirna Ribeiro, Consulting Chef of SVB and Tropicalize Bistro, will lead the other panels of the Seminar.
Climate change and food production, vegan food in the prevention of diseases, plant protagonism in dishes, cost-effectiveness of vegan food and product innovation in plant-based gastronomy are some of the subjects that will be addressed
Vegan Cuisine Festival and Shopkeeper’s Marathon
For lovers of tasty and, above all, healthy food, the events include the Vegan Cuisine Festival. Karina Cunha, finalist of MasterVeg 2022, Mariana Rios, of Veg Chef Brasil, Matheus Rocha, of Veg Chef Brasil, and many other chefs will teach the public how to prepare delights such as pumpkin gratin with soy bolognese and parmesan of Brazil nuts, tangerine mousse with white chocolate, broad beans ceviche and bean truffles.
In Talk & Taste Orgânico, another gastronomic attraction, chefs and guest brands prepare organic recipes presenting experiences with flavors of Brazil that will be tasted by the participants.
In the market segment, BIO BRAZIL FAIR| BIOFACH LATIN AMERICA and NATURALTECH promote the Shopkeeper’s Marathon, a series of lectures and mentoring to help the public to set up a natural products business from scratch. It is also worth mentioning the traditional National and International Business Roundtable, where B2B visitors and exhibitors, by prior appointment, can exchange experiences, advance negotiations and close agreements.
